You may not have heard of the Long-Term Stock Exchange. But it is real and has just been launched in the US this week.

I have been following it up closely ever since the idea was introduced by Eric Ries, the Lean Startup guru.
The most unique thing about it:
To list their shares on the Exchange, companies are required to publish and maintain a series of policies that are designed to provide shareholders and other stakeholders with insight into their long-term strategies, practices, plans and measures.
Capitalism will not be the same again when the Exchange matures and goes mainstream for companies and investors.
